The Stone Serpent is an artifact in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
Two of them can be obtained in the game. One is obtained by completing a Challenge Tomb in the level Stronghold Passage. Another one is obtained by completing one of the Reward Challenges in the level The Mirror's Wake: "Achieve a hole-in-one ".
Artifacts affect your characters attributes in different ways both positively and negatively. Two artifacts can be equipped that boost the same attribute to give even greater strength.

Appearance
A serpent made out of stone.
Powers
When equipped, the Stone Serpent affects positively to Lara's or Totec's defense and to the effectiveness of Bombs and weapons. The Stone Serpent does not have a negative effect.
