Preparing Lara for the Corner Bug

The Corner Bug (or Corner Jump) is one of the useful bugs.

The Corner Bug can be used in some of the Classic Tomb Raider games (confirmed in Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, and Tomb Raider III - should also work in Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation and Tomb Raider Chronicles as well as the classic Add On). Using it provides the player with a possibility to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. It was discovered by Jason McAllister[1].

Using the Corner Bug

  • Position Lara at the edge, facing outwards into the corner, at a 45 degree angle.
  • Jump straight up. If you've done it correctly Lara's leg and arm will look as if inside the wall. (See picture above.)
  • Keep jumping until Lara lands on the top of the wall.

This will only work if there is enough space on top of the wall for Lara to stand up straight.
