The Yetis are mythical ape-like creatures that are said to live in the Himalaya region.
The first Yetis encountered, are feature in the Catacombs of the Talion level in Tomb Raider II and similar creatures, the Sasquatch, also feature in The Golden Mask (Tomb Raider 2 Gold). They also make an appearance in the Shangri-La Comic arc.
