When she was 16, he brought her to Angkor Wat, Kambodia for her first adventure. This was in Tomb Raider 4 The Last Revelation
Later in her life Lara stole the Iris that Werner got in Kambodia from him. She infiltrated VCI Headquarters and escaped with the Iris.
Werner von Croy was murdered in Paris. In Tomb Raider 6 The Angel of Darkness Lara is accused to have killed him.
