Remark: This article describes the Wall Run with Grapple in Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Underworld. For information about the wall run without using the grapple, see Wall Run.

Wall Run in Anniversary

Wall Run is one of the new moves introduced in Tomb Raider Anniversary. Lara uses the rope of her grapple to run along a wall, when an appropriate grapple spot is located above it. She can run back and forth and jump to the front, the back and the side. The first time this move has to be performed in the game is in Greece - St. Francis Folly.

A similar move returns in Tomb Raider Underworld, where Lara can use her Magnetic Grapple to run along walls and even jump from it.

In the Jungle Temple of Lara Croft: Relic Run Lara performs an wall run similar to the on described above automatically as soon as she reaches a certain point in the level. She jumps off a ledge and attaches her grapple to some off-screen grapple point and begins a run along the wall. There are some obstacles like Spiked Vines, columns, trees, or buildings, which have to be avoided by swiping right, making Lara jump sideways off the wall.
