Tihocan, one of the triumverate, the three sacred rulers of Atlantis along with Qualopec and Natla. Together they created the Scion, a device of immeasurable power and the ultimate power source of Atlantis.

He and Qualopec were present at her incarceration in present day New Mexico, USA. In Anniversary Tihocan was the one who summoned the ice to imprison Natla in contrast to a machine used in the original game. They then sealed her piece of the Scion within the city of Khamoon in a sanctuary.

Appearence
His original appearance shows a man wearing a helmet with a visor illuminating his eyes green and covering his face. He wears his piece of the Scion around his neck and is dressed in dark Atlantean garbs. In Anniversary his face is shown and his dress is more extravagant.

St. Francis Folly
It is doubtful that a monastery would have been built by Franciscan monks in Greece, althought the Catholic Venetians did have significant territorial gains in the Aegean sea and on various Greek Islands, eventually conquering as far as Cyprus. However, the location of Phrygia, which was the kingdom of the mythic King Midas is actually based in inland Turkey. This could suggest then, that all the Greek levels are not actually based in Greece, but in Turkey - but that the structures were built by Asiatic Greeks who colonised parts of Turkey themselves. Whether a Catholic monastery would have been built in Turkey is therefore unlikely, but it is possible that earlier groups of Christians such as the Armenian, Syriac or Greek Orthodox Churches - as the style of the building in Anniversary is certainly not lavish enough to be from the Medieval period.
The name of the monastery - Saint Francis - probably refers to the number of animals (lions, crocodiles, gorillas, bats and rats) present within the structure, and not the saint himself. It could even be a later name for the monastery.
