Stone Warrior
You will meet the Stone Warriors in Tomb Raider 2, in the levels Floating Islands and Dragon's Lair.

These warriors come to life when triggered. The Stone Warrior with Sword is only seen in the Floating Islands level . The Stone Warrior with Spear is seen in that level and The Dragon's Lair.

There are two kinds of Stone Warriors:

At the beginning of the level a Stone Warrior will come flying toward Lara. While in the air they are slow and Lara can shoot them with the M16 from afar. In the Floating Islands you can just shoot them with your pistols and eventually they will die.

On the PlayStation you could get rid of them before they came to life, by shooting grenades at them.

This doesn't work on the PC, however you can predamage them so they only need one shot after coming to life. Only the spear gun can do that. Shooting them three times with the grenade launcher while still stoned will cause the system to crash.

However, the amount of spears/harpoons needed to pre-damage them is quite a lot. The pre-damage method works best if you have unlimited ammunition from completing the game beforehand.
