Situational Adrenaline is a feature in Tomb Raider Underworld. The feature replaces the Interactive Cutscenes from Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary.

When Lara stumbles upon a sudden, dangerous situation, the situational adrenaline is triggered. During these scenes, the screen turns blurry, time slows down and Lara's senses are heightened, enabling her to react faster.

During Situational Adrenaline Lara must avoid the presenting danger by performing an appropriate move e.g. by jumping out of the way. Avoiding the danger is done by using the standard movement keys.

Sudden, dangerous situations will automatically trigger Lara's Situational Adrenaline. While in this mode, time slows down and Lara's responses are heightened. When Situational Adrenaline is active, use the standard control scheme to avoid danger.
