Save Crystals can be found in Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider 3, they allow the player to save their game. In the original tomb raider, loctaions of the crystals were the only places players could save. In tomb raider 3 they were collectable and usable anytime. In anniversary the crystals were replaced by checkpoints.
