The Rolling Spike Ball is a Trap in The Last Revelation it is a special case of the Rolling Ball, only with spikes.
Like with any boulder-like trap they are only dangerous, when Lara gets caught underneath them. Get out of the way quickly.
There is also another type of spikeballs, you can find them under Dangling Spike Ball.
