The Retracting Ledge (also Extending Ledge in reverse) is an obstacle in several of the Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Games.

The retracting ledge is an obstacle in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
This obstacle is once again found in Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
- Tomb of the Timekeeper
- At the end of the second level, Tomb of the Timekeeper Lara steps out onto a retracting ledge and triggers it by picking up a Bag of Gems. At the end of the ledge is a Timebomb Barrier, a bricked-up piece of wall that prevents her from continuing onward. By shooting an Eye of Horus Trigger, Lara can extend a set of double Folding Ledges and use a Extending Block to push a Timebomb along the ledges and towards the bricked-up wall.
