In [[Tomb Raider Underworld]] Lara travels to the Mediterranean searching for [[Avalon]]. Following a hint given by [[Professor Eddington]], an old friend of her fathers, Lara takes her [[Lara's Yacht|Yacht]] there to explore an undiscovered island.
  
In [[Tomb Raider Underworld]] Lara visits [[Niflheim]] in the Mediterranean Sea. She arrives there with her [[Lara's Yacht|Yacht]]. The first part of Tomb Raider Underworld, which will take part at this location, will have a lot of underwater action. Also, after retrieving one of [[Thor's Gauntlets]], it's stolen from her, and she follows a mercenary to a cargo ship ([[Natla's Ship]]) resting on the sea to get it back.
