Life is Strange is an Anventure game created by Dontnod Entertainment and published by Square Enix in five episodes throughout 2015. It was released for Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.

The game follows the adventures of 18 year old Maxine "Max" Caulfield, studying photography at the Blackwell Academy. When she witnesses a shooting at her school she discovers that she has the ability to reverse time.

Tomb Raider References

There are several Reference to the Tomb Raider Games hidden in this game.

Episode 1

The first one can be found in Victoria Chase's dorm room: On the table in front of her sofa there is a rejection letter from the "Kroft Gallery", signed by "Amanda Kroft", the owner. "Kroft" is just a different spelling for Lara Croft's surname and Amanda is the first name of Amanda Evert from Tomb Raider: Legend. Coincidentally, Victoria is not a very likeable character, bullying her fellow students and being something of an antagonist to Max, just as Amanda turned out to be an antagonist to Lara in Legend.

Another one can be found in Chloe Price's back yard: When Max sits down on the old swings, she starts reminiscing about the time before she left Arcadia and how she wanted to take Chloe with her on her adventures, which "would be like Lara Croft, only real."

Episode 3

When Max looks up the Missing Persons List on the Arcadia Bay Police Department's web page, there is a "Winston Smith" listed there, missing since June 8th, 1984. Winston Smith is the name of Lara's butler in the classic games.
