Gem (Shiva) is an artefact found twice in the level Bhogavati in Tomb Raider Underworld.

A magnificent gem. Based on its size, it was probably meant to adorn something of an immense scale.
In-game information[1]

Appearance

Large, bright gem with a decorative outlining.

Powers

The artefact doesn't have any supernatural powers. It's meant to be placed on both of the hands of the great Shiva statue, and then when the hands are raised, the gems will reflect the sunlight to the bottom of the area. This makes it possible to solve the puzzle down there.
