The cornerbug can be used to reach unaccessible areas.
In some of the tomb raider games (for certain in TR1, TR2 and TR3) you can find something called the cornerbug.
This is how it's done
1. Postition Lara at the edge, facing outwards into the corner.
2. Jump straight up. If you've done it correctly Laras leg and arm will look as if inside the "stone". (Picture)
3. Keep jumping till Lara lands on the "roof"
