The newly introduced PlayStation 4 will bring 4k resolution to console gamers playing Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration. The 20 Year Celebration launches on 11 October 2016 and was adapted specifically for the new console. This will enable graphical enhancements such as improved reflections, more dynamic foliage, and more detailed tessellation; these last three features will also be available on a PS4 Pro connected to a Full HD display.
There will be three settings available on the PS4 Pro: 4K Resolution, High Framerate, and Enriched Visuals:
4K Resolution displays the game in 4K Resolution, on supported 4K TVs, in 30 fps. High Framerate pushes the framerate above 30 fps at 1080p with a target of 60 fps for an even smoother gameplay experience. Enriched Visuals enhances graphical features of the game for a lusher and more realistic experience, in 1080p at 30 fps.
