The Ark of the Covenant was decribed in the Bible as a sacred container, holding the Ten Commandments, Aaron's rod and manna. It was built at the command of God on Mount Sinai. God communicated with Moses "from between the cherubim" on the Ark's cover.
The Ark was rumoured to be in:
- Ethiopian Orthodox Street
- Zimbabwe
- Middle East
- Languedoc
- England
- Ireland
Although none have been confirmed.
In Tomb Raider the Ark of the Covenant is seen at the front of the house, but in the remake, they didn't place it in because of copyright issues to Indiana Jones;Raiders of the Lost Ark
