A Faint Light is the first level in Shadow of the Tomb Raider and serves as an introduction level for basic movements, the Axe Climb and the Overhang Climb. It takes place in the Cozumel Caves Location.
The game continues in the level In the Shadows.
Story
It opens up with Lara Croft's foot stuck beneath some rubble. Using the Combat Knife she can free herself and then climb out of the cave through a narrow shaft into a bigger cavern where she discovers a Maya pyramid. Jonah Maiava joins her and together they discover a stele with a Maya date on it that seems to be damaged on porous. Before they can make sense of it Lara inadvertently steps on a detonator - presumably left behind by Trinity - that destroys the cave.
