The Raising Column found in Egypt - Obelisk of Khamoon in Tomb Raider Anniversary can be considered an improved Raising Block as known from the Classic Era.
It is a timed column that is lowered by a Jump Switch and raises on its own once the lever is released. Lara needs to get on top to be taken upwards.
