The Statue of Midas is seen in Tomb Raider I in the Level: Palace Midas.

It is only the feets seen of and a platform with the name MIDAS.

On the right you see the hand of Midas. if you stand on the hand, you will turn into gold and the game is over.

use the hand to turn the Bars into Gold Bars.
