Xibalba is the name of the underoworld in Mayan mythology. In the 16th century, entrance to it was believed to be in caves either in [[Guatemala]] or Belize. After completing the [[Mayan Calendar]] and succesfully racing through the revealed entrance of Xibalba, Lara finds herself inside the Mayan underworld. There she travels further inside to the underworld, coming across a large hall, where the statues of [[Lords of Xibalba]] are. Her objective is to open a passageway underneath the central platform placed in the middle of the statues. The passageway leads to a chamber further below, where the [[Thor's Belt]] waits to be found.
