Tomb Raider (2013)

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Main Game

There are only hints at Lara's mother in Rise of the Tomb Raider. It seems to have been painful for Lara's father to talk about her, even to his own daughter. They seem to have had a happy and loving marriage and her death was devastating to both him and his daughter. Nonetheless even after her death Lord Croft still draws strength from her when he decides to continue his discredited research. He repeatedly states that he is doing it all for her, maybe even in the hopes to overcome death and being able to talk to her again.

Blood Ties

When Lara returns to Croft Manor in Blood Ties in order to search for her father's will to prove to her uncle Atlas DeMornay that she is the rightful owner of the manor, she has to enter the West Wing where her mother's bedroom was.
