The '''Serpent Rouge Guards''' are baddies who appear in [[The Angel of Darkness]].

They are guarding [[Bouchard|Bouchard's]] Nightclub [[Le Serpent Rouge]].

The guards come in two different outfits. They use an [[M-V9]].

Although this part of the game is set in Paris the guards can be heard shouting in Czech, not French. It is unknown whether this is accidental or whether there was originally an explanation within a part of the storyline that was dropped before the final version.

Lara's holsters are one of her most iconic accessories. She can be seen wearing them in every Tomb Raider game to date, as well as in the two Tomb Raider films. Within the games, their purpose is to carry whichever handgun/s (up to two) Lara has currently equipped.

The holsters usually appear to be made of black or dark brown leather, and are secured to Lara's outer, upper thighs. The top of each holster is attached to her belt by straps of the same material, while the bottom of either holster is held in place by a strap running around her thigh.

Since the release of the first Tomb Raider game both fans and critics have occasionally questioned the practicality of Lara's holsters; many have suggested the unrealistic strap arrangement was in fact designed to remind gamers of a garter belt and stockings.

Lara's holsters have famously caused costume problems for real-life Lara models employed by [[Eidos]] as well as in the live-action films specifically due to their impracticalities, thigh-straps in particular.

'''Lasers''' have appeared in many forms in the Tomb Raider Series, but were first used in the Military parts of the [[Nevada]] sections of [[Tomb Raider 3]], as death traps as well as an alarm trigger. Walking through one would mean death to the heroine.

In the [[Louvre]] and [[Von Croy's Apartment]] in [[Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness]] there are trip wires (lasers) which, once broken, will either cause an alarm to sound (the Louvre) or a bomb to explode (Von Croy's Apartment).

Calcutta is a city in India. Lara stayed in a hotel in Calcutta, before her adventure in Tomb Raider 1 - the year was 1997 according to the original game, 1995 according to the remake. In both versions Lara is shown reading a book in the lobby before Larson approaches her with an offer from Natla; the cutscene introduces the game's first level.
