You will meet these Temple Dogs in The Last Revelation.
Sometimes you will meet statues of these dogs that suddenly come to life.
They might seem harmless but if they bite Lara, she will lose quite a lot of energy. She has to keep them at bay. If she jumps and runs around a lot the Pistols will suffice.
