Rope Arrows

The Rope Arrows are a part of Lara's gear in Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Tomb Raider (2013)
Rope Arrows can be used to reach higher areas or to pull at objects or enemies. It can be fired to any rope-wrapped surface and to other special objects to create Zip Lines or in order to pull them down. This way it is possible for Lara to destroy hiding places and force her enemies into the open.
Rope arrows do not require having arrow ammo to fire. Tap [M MOUSE] to fire rope arrows when the bow is equipped.

It is also possible to shoot Rope Arrows directly at enemies in order to pull them down a ledge. This is a rather neat method of getting rid of them without wasting too much ammo.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
In the continuation of the 2013 reboot, Rope Arrows make a reappearance in Rise of the Tomb Raider. They can be used in a similar fashion as before.
