Xolotl, called the Keeper of Darkness in Aztec mythology, is the main antagonist in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. He is an evil and powerful demon using the Mirror of Smoke to conjure up his minion demons and other monsters like the Demon T-Rex or a huge fishlike demon.

In Aztec mythology he is the brother of Quetzalcoatl and is the god of lightning, misfortune, and death, the opposite of his brother.
